Do you have a positive agenda for Cyprus? Have you ever considered doing a podcast?

Island Talks is now accepting applications from interested candidates to start their podcast show on our platform.

As a part of our commitment for diversity in Cyprus, we will prioritize applications from the civil society, vulnerable groups, activists and people with a positive agenda to support diversity, inclusion, and peace-making.
The podcasts can be in English, Greek or Turkish.

No prior experience is required but the podcasters are expected to commit to producing regularly.

Applicants can place in multiple applications with more than one podcast idea.

There is no lower or upper limit to the number of selected podcasts, we are expecting to select as many as 3 podcasts in the first application. Short-listed candidates will be invited for an interview.

Applicants who have received training under the PODIP project will be given extra marks in the evaluation phase.

Island Talks cannot guarantee equipment support. Winning applications will receive orientation training.

This call is made within the framework of Podcasting for Diversity, Inclusion and Peacemaking (PODIP) project, jointly implemented by Island Talks, UniteCyprusNow and Cyprus Peacemaking Initiative. The PODIP project benefits from a grant under the Active Citizens Fund Cyprus programme, funded by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway, through the EEA and Norway Grants 2014-2021.
