Thank you United Nations Assistant Secretary-General Miroslav Jenca, DSASG Colin Stewart and the UN team in Cyprus UNFICYPUN Cyprus Talks for giving us the opportunity to explain the need to increase our joint efforts for reconciliation and peace on our island.
As a part of its campaign to create awareness about the need to ease crossings and enhance smooth implementation of the Green Line Regulation, #UniteCyprusNow continues to visit the EU embassies and other relevant diplomatic missions. Within this framework, UCN visited the embassies of Sweden, Finland, Italy, France, the Netherlands, Germany, and the European Commission Representation in Cyprus. The visits will continue.
Thank you Ambassador Anke Schlimm of Germany for accepting the #UniteCyprusNow delegation and listening to our practical suggestions to ease the crossings across the Green Line, as regulated by EU's Green Line Regulation. In the absence of #Cyprob talks, it is particularly important to continue building bridges for reconciliation across the divide and we are grateful to your support for the Imagine project of Association for Historical Dialogue & Research (AHDR), helping overcoming prejudices among the youngsters in #Cyprus.

During the absence of a political process, it is particularly important to take actions to build trust and make both communities feel that the #EU is committed to support them overcoming social and economic problems with a vision of a united and European Cyprus.
